This as I sat sequestered in my apartment in West Slope near Portland from March 24th 1979 through March 25 1979.
Part 10 of "1979"
Part 10 has 7 Sub Parts -- and covers that bizarre, and mysteriously murderous six and a half month long plus time period from September 4th 1978, this just after a bizarre and bloody near fatal summer in Northern California and my return to Portland, during which time I also lived in Hillsboro and West Slope, Oregon on through March 21st, the day before the incredibly bizarre incident at the Portland Hilton where I worked on March 22nd 1979 that so radically changed my situation in Portland in a matter of seconds.
It was this same incident on March 22nd that set into motion an explosively volatile chain of events that made it necessary for me to sequester myself in my apartment in West Slope on March 24th 1979 through March 25
1979, in order to review these tumultuous events of these past 6 months in Portland.
This
which front page 'frame ups' in 'The Oregonian' in October, a TV political fantasy about an assassination 'patsy' in 1963 during this time, the November '78 quartet of suicidal bridge jumpers 60 miles north of Portland, within days after the mass-murder-suicides in Jonestown and the 'double header' assassinations of Mayor Moscone and Supervisor Milk the following week.
There was also the suicide leap of my new Girlfriend's cousin from a Portland 'psycho ward' window in early December and the crash of a United DC-9 in Portland December 28th. -- I allowed myself to be set-up at the Portland Hilton by the time the total eclipse plunged Portland into even more darkness than was already in there on February 26th 1979.
